Drift Workshop Street Pack 2018. A custom launcher and content management app for Assetto Corsa. A brand new alternative launcher for Assetto Corsa. Oct 31, 2018 Here we will post all Assetto Corsa related drift tracks and/or modded drift tracks! Assetto Corsa Meihan Sportsland C Course. Modified date: October 31, 2018. Meihan Sportsland C Course is a well renowned track in the Japanese Drift World. Located in the Nara Prefecture this track is playground to Team Burst and host to many drifting events.
I'm not really into drifting, but somehow this one, even I can keep it sideways . Besides, I liked the story.
The story in short: the mod is meant as a replica of the real car, a drift Supra in the hands of the guys at SwitchRiders, a French based team that likes to go sideways. Project was realised by a mixed team, coordinated by the iRT Drift Engineering group.
NOTE: Not mandatory to register for download, there is a link in the video description.
There are still things to be ironed out (and they will be, so be sure to follow the guys), but it's a fun experience already, imo.

Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa features an advanced DirectX 11 graphics engine that recreates an immersive environment, dynamic lighthing and realistic materials and surfaces. The advanced physics engine is being designed to provide a very realistic driving experience, including features and aspects of real cars, never seen on any other racing simulator such as tyre flat spots, heat cycles including graining and blistering, very advanced aerodynamic simulation with active movable aerodynamics parts controlled in real time by telemetry input channels, hybrid systems with kers and energy recovery simulation. Extremely detailed with single player and multiplayer options, exclusive licensed cars reproduced with the best accuracy possible, thanks to the official cooperation of Car Manufacturers.
The circuits have been developed using Laser scan technology, in order to guarantee the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing environments.
Monza, Silverstone, Imola, Mugello, Spa, Brands Hatch and many more tracks, including the historical reproduction of Monza, that brings again to life the legendary Sopraelevata, the high-speed oval where races were staged until 1961.

Assetto Corsa Review
Highly recommended for anyone who REALLY wants to get good at driving fast. The game doesn’t hold your hand, or lecture you on how to do better next time. Essentially, you are given a car, a track, and a lap timer. Of course, you can jump straight into multiplayer and mess around on cruise/drift servers, or a race using a car & track you’ve never driven before (the latter is great if you want to make everyone in the lobby very angry).
But personally, I’ve found far more enjoyment in constantly pushing myself to improve. At first, a lap without smashing the wall feels like winning a gold medal. Then you start to memorize the corners, and how you messed up last time, and WHOA there’s signs that help you figure out when to brake?! Then you learn racing lines, and how you should use as much track as possible. More practice and you start to get better at carrying the right amount of speed into a corner, while keeping the car on the edge of its grip limits AND following the line. Replays are a valuable resource for pinpointing mistakes. Your stints get longer. 10 clean, consistent laps? Easy peasy. Tenths of a second become miniature eternities. Before, a crash was seen as a minor inconvenience. Now, the tiniest stray application of throttle will throw off your line, set you behind by 0.15 seconds, and ruin the entire lap. THAT’S what I love about this game. No matter how good you think you are, you’ll look back 200 hours later and ask, “who let that monkey get behind the wheel?”

Despite its amazing driving simulation, Assetto Corsa just doesn’t get the racing right. Out on track alone it feels amazing; there’s no denying the remarkable realism Kunos Simulazioni has captured here. Unfortunately the team just hasn’t been able to wrap a comprehensive or competitive racing experience around it this time.
- Amazing driving
- Good Graphics
- Challenging
- Needs more tracks
Great
